Hello my fellow Dungeon Masters, Game Masters, and of course, players.

Today I’m going to show you how to make stealth and infiltration more intense in your sessions.

Let’s start in a classic location: the throne room — a heavily guarded place.

Imagine one or several players want to get in there unseen and unheard — to steal something, spy, or eavesdrop. Everything seems relaxed at first...

Then the stealth begins.

Players dart from shadow to shadow, dodging vigilant and prying eyes. The atmosphere starts out balanced — but we quickly shift the mood.

I like to imagine that, during a tense infiltration, everything that’s not critical fades away.

You move quietly, carefully — shadow to shadow — hoping not to get caught.
